The Al-Karam Journal (2000-2007)
The Al-Karam Journal was a project set up by graduates and senior students of Jamia Al-Karam, supported by Al-Karam Publications, in October 2000 as a quarterly magazine. Its publication continued until 2007. It provided scholarly articles and essays covering a variety of academic and religious topics as well as discussions on contemporary issues.
The Al-Karam Journal gave an opportunity for graduates of Jamia Al-Karam to present their writings and thoughts to a wider audience, in particular the Muslim youth at college and university level. Aside from numerous graduates of Jamia Al-Karam, prominent Muslim scholars also contributed and their articles featured in the Al-Karam Journal including Barrister Ahmad Thomson, Shaykh Muhammad Amin Ul Hasnat Shah, Shaykh Dr Zaki Badawi KBE (late), Shaykh Muhammad Imdad Hussain Pirzada, Professor Dr Bashir Ahmad Siddiqui (late), Maulana Shahid Raza Na’eemi, Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad, among many others.
