Jamia Al-Karam hosted an Open Day for Mosque & Madrasa Pupils.

On Wednesday 17 April 2019, Jamia Al-Karam hosted its first open day for mosque and madrasa pupils from across the country. The open day provided an opportunity for the attendees to visit the historic campus of Eaton Hall, see the work and activities of Jamia Al-Karam, learn about its history and objectives, and to meet graduates, students, teachers and the Founder and Principal, Shaykh Muhammad Imdad Hussain Pirzada.

The attendees were organised into groups and led by senior teachers of Jamia Al-Karam and senior students from the male and female faculties as they went through a series of different activities during the day. Activities included collective assemblies, sports and recreation sessions, site tour, Team JAK presentations and seminars on the significance of the Qur’an in the modern world of science and discovery. Lunch and snacks were provided during the day.

Jamia Al-Karam would like to thank all those who took part and travelled lengthy distances to attend this open day, as well as the organisers and supervisors from various centres. In particular, gratitude is offered to the Al-Karam Mosque Forest Gate in London and team leader Imam Mansoor Mahmood; Madina Masjid in Cardiff and team leader Imam Muhammad Umar Nawaz; Dar Ul Noor Academy in Birmingham and team leader Imam Faisal Ali Khatab; Jamia Masjid Sultania in Nottingham and team leader Br Imran Khan; Muslim Welfare Association in Worcester and team leader Imam Muhammad Asim; Islamic Education Centre in Birmingham and team organiser Pir Imran Abdali; and Jamia Masjid Abu Bakr in Rotherham and team leader Amar Hafiz.

The day was received well and the attendees enjoyed the activities that were beneficial and inspiring.
