Fees Policy

The institution receives no institutional funding support and is dependent on fee income as well as individual donations and contributions from generous donors. The fee income does not cover the full cost of Jamia Al-Karam’s provision, and therefore donations play a key part in covering the expenses.

Fees

Annual Tution Fee: £2,550 (payable in three equal instalments of £850 for each term)

The annual fee is payable in three equal instalments for the three academic terms. Under normal circumstances, the first term is from September to December (Autumn), the second term is from January to March (Spring) and the third term is from April to July (Summer). The first term fee is payable following Summer holidays, the second term fee is payable following Christmas holidays and the third term fee is payable following Easter holidays. The fee includes tuition as well as boarding and catering, and it is heavily subsidised as the expense per student is much higher.

Additional Costs

Certain costs are not included in the annual fee. These additional costs may apply and include:

Admission fee £200 one-off, paid following acceptance
Bed charge £150 one-off, paid with first term fee (Female students)
Annual book charge £150 per year, paid with first term fee
DBS Disclosure £50 one-off, at start of course

Costs of repair of damage, fines, off-site trips, photocopying, etc. are charged separately.

Payment

Fees are payable on the first day of each term. The right to charge for any late payment of fees and for seeking previous unsettled fees is reserved. The institution also reserves the right to terminate a student’s place if fees are not settled in agreed manner. Payment can be made by cash, cheque or debit card. If fee is paid by cheque, the cheque must be made payable to ‘JAMIA AL-KARAM’ and signed and dated. Post Dated cheques cannot be accepted. If a cheque returned unpaid, an admin charge of £40 will be payable.

Fees are non-refundable

All fees are non-refundable. A full term fee is still payable even if a student leaves after beginning that particular term (for even a day) whether this departure is by own choice or permanent exclusion from the institution. Fees are NOT based upon number of days spent at Jamia Al-Karam. If a pupil or student leaves and any fee amount remains unsettled, then costs incurred in chasing up the payment will be charged.

Fees Review

The institution reserves the right to review its fee policy and make any changes without notice. A copy of the updated fee policy is available from the admissions office. [June-2022]

Please confirm that you have read and agree to the Fees Policy*
